The Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich
Prefer a savory breakfast? Try this crispy prosciutto, jammy eggs, & julienned onion sandwich. ‘Twill tickle your fancy!
Ingredients
- 1 Thomas’® Everything Bagel
- 2 tsp butter
- 2 slices prosciutto
- 1 egg
- 3 to 4 julienned red onions strips
- ½ tsp chopped dill and/or parsley
Directions
- Split your Thomas’® Everything Bagel and lightly toast. Spread each half with butter.
- Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place prosciutto on top. Bake until crispy, about 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside to cool.
- Meanwhile, bring a pot of water to a full boil. Add egg and continue to boil for 7 to 8 minutes. Transfer egg to an ice bath to stop cooking. Let rest for 2 to 3 minutes, then peel and slice in half.
- Place crisp prosciutto on Bagel bottom. Top with egg, onion, and herbs.
