Runny Egg Bagel Sandwich
A savory breakfast BLT with a fried egg.
Ingredients
- 1 Thomas’® Plain Bagel
- 2 tsp butter
- 2 slices of bacon
- 1 egg
- Dash of salt and pepper
- 1 tomato slice
- ¼ cup arugula
Directions
- Split bagel in half and lightly toast. Spread each half with butter.
- Add bacon to a skillet and cook over medium-low heat. Flip occasionally and cook through for 8-10 minutes to desired crispness.
- Heat a clean skillet over medium heat and spray with cooking oil. Add egg, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover and cook egg until you reach your preferred doneness.
- Place arugula on bagel bottom. Add tomato, cooked bacon, and fried egg. Add bagel top.
