Swirl Bread Apple Pie Panini

Ingredients

4 slices Thomas’® Cinnamon Swirl Bread
¼ cup cream cheese
1 teaspoon honey
1 Granny Smith apple, sliced
1 Gala apple, sliced
2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
Butter pecan ice cream, to taste

Directions

1. Heat panini press. In a small bowl, whisk together cream cheese and honey until well combined.
2. Layer apple slices on two pieces of bread. Spread cream cheese on one side of two other bread slices, and place on top of bread with apples, cream cheese side down.
3. Spread butter on both sides of each sandwich. Grill sandwiches on panini press until golden brown and filling is slightly warmed (approximately 5 minutes). Top with a scoop of butter pecan ice cream and enjoy!
