Lunch rut? Whip up a simple but elegant Plum & Cheese Bagel Melt.

Ingredients

1 Thomas’® Plain Bagel
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 slices Provolone cheese
1 plum, sliced
½ yellow onion, chopped
1 tablespoon butter

Directions

1. In a medium-size saucepan over low heat, bring olive oil to a simmer. Add onion and cook about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2. Layer Provolone cheese, plums and onions on the bottom half of the bagel. Cap with bagel lid.
3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Place sandwich in skillet and cook until golden brown on bottom, approximately 3 minutes. Carefully flip and cook an additional 3 minutes.
