Butternut Squash Nooks & Crannies® Bagel
These appetizers can be passed, but not passed up!
1 butternut squash
5 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons sage, chopped
1 tablespoon agave
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
4 ounces Goat cheese
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
2. In a small bowl, mix together butternut squash, apples, olive oil, sage, agave, garlic, salt and pepper.
3. Place coated butternut squash and apples on a 9-by-12-inch baking pan and bake until tender (approximately 20 minutes).
4. Cut each bagel half into fourths. Spread Goat cheese on each piece and top with roasted squash and apples. Drizzle on honey along with balsamic glaze and enjoy!
